Blueberry Smoothie

I was so disappointed when I read that as a candida sufferer, I had to avoid fruit! I was only able to resist the Lord's perfect candy for one month. Now I selectively choose a variety of fruits, balanced with proteins and carbohydrates. Be careful when purchasing yogurt, most of them contain sugar and or high fructose corn syrup. I prefer Cascade Fresh. It contains eight active cultures that are good for fighting candida. Also, use only 100% juice. I also enjoy fruit juice about once a week, but it is always watered down three parts to one.

1 cup frozen blueberries
1 6 ounce container blueberry yogurt
3/4 cup rice milk (unsweetened)
1/4 cup pomegranate juice

Add to blender and puree. Delicious! Makes 2-3 servings.
